As a family of avid hikers, our stay at the lovely cottage in Greenlaw village was absolutely delightful. the location was perfect for us, with plenty of nice walks nearby and stunning views of Hume Castle just a short distance away. the Scottish Border towns and north-of-England sites were easily accessible, allowing us to explore the area to our heart's content. One of the highlights of our stay was the abundance of bathrooms in the cottage. With two ensuites and a downstairs toilet, there was never a line or any waiting around for the kids to use the facilities. the stone-built cottage also impressed us with its ability to stay cool even during a particularly hot spell in early August. The small kitchen was well-equipped, providing us with everything we needed to prepare family meals after a long day of hiking. Overall, the family-friendly amenities and activities at the cottage made our stay a memorable one, and we can't wait to return for another adventure in the near future.
